Warranty Terms

1. Two (2) Year Manufacturing & Material Defect Warranty

Max Storage Buildings warrants that all components supplied with the structure will be free from manufacturing defects and material defects for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery. This includes:

• Defects in manufacturing
• Defects in material quality
• Seam manufacturing defects
• Hardware manufacturing defects
• Structural fabric defects occurring within the initial period

If a defect is confirmed within this two-year period, Max Storage Buildings may, at its sole discretion: repair the defective component, replace the defective component, or provide replacement material.

This warranty applies only when the structure has been properly installed, properly anchored, used under normal conditions, and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations.

2. Twelve (12) Year Limited Fabric Cover Warranty

The main PVC fabric cover supplied with the structure is warranted for a period of twelve (12) years from the date of delivery against premature structural failure caused by defects in the fabric material.

This warranty applies only to the main fabric cover material and does not represent the expected service life of the product. The fabric cover is considered an outdoor component subject to environmental exposure and gradual aging.

3. Fabric Warranty Coverage

If the main fabric cover experiences premature structural failure caused by a defect in the material, Max Storage Buildings may, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the fabric
• Replace the defective fabric
• Provide a prorated material credit toward replacement fabric

4. Fabric Warranty Proration Schedule

5. Costs Not Covered

Warranty coverage applies only to fabric material replacement credit. The following are not covered:

• Installation or removal labor
• Shipping or freight charges
• Equipment required for installation
• Travel or service costs
• Disposal of damaged materials
• Downtime or loss of use of the structure

6. Normal Weathering and Environmental Aging

PVC fabric exposed to outdoor environments will naturally experience aging over time. The following are not covered:

• Fading or discoloration
• Chalking or oxidation
• Cosmetic surface changes
• Gradual loss of flexibility
• Gradual reduction in tensile strength due to UV exposure
• Minor cracking related to environmental exposure

7. Owner Responsibilities

Owners must:

• Ensure proper installation and anchoring
• Maintain proper fabric tension
• Periodically inspect the structure
• Repair minor punctures or tears promptly
• Remove excessive snow accumulation when necessary

8. Damage Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Improper installation or anchoring
• Modifications to the structure
• Abrasion or rubbing against frame components
• Punctures, cuts, or tears caused by tools or equipment
• Animal or wildlife damage
• Storms or environmental events exceeding design limits
• Excessive snow accumulation
• Fire, flooding, lightning, or other natural disasters

9. Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim the purchaser must provide:

• Proof of purchase
• Delivery date
• Photographs of the damaged area
• Photographs of the full structure
• Description of the issue

Claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the issue.

10. Limitation of Liability

Manufacturer liability is limited solely to the prorated material value of the fabric cover. Max Storage Buildings is not responsible for: loss of profits, loss of crops or livestock, damage to stored equipment or property, business interruption, or consequential or incidental damages.

11. Maximum Liability

Total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the fabric cover component.

12. Warranty Transfer

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable without written approval from Max Storage Buildings.
