Four reasons a yard building goes on a lease
Same buildings, same published prices. What changes is how the money is structured.
The capital stays free
A storage building shouldn’t consume the line of credit you keep for trucks, iron and payroll.
A budget line, not a capital request
A monthly figure clears an operating budget without waiting on the next capital cycle.
Terms that match the need
First Capital offers 12–84 month terms, subject to approval. Tell us your budget and planning horizon; the lender confirms the available term and end-of-term conditions.
Your accountant’s call
How a lease is treated on your books is a question for your accountant. We’ll give your finance team whatever documentation they ask for.
Four steps, most of them ours
Tell us the yard and the size
Width, length, and whether you need clear access to drive a loaded forklift straight through.
We quote it as one number
Request an itemized quote for the building, delivery and installation. The lender confirms which costs can be financed.
First Capital takes the application
First Capital Leasing reviews financing applications. Approval, timing, rates, fees and early-payment conditions are confirmed by the lender for your application.
We deliver and arrange an installation quote
Free delivery within 888 highway km of the hub supplying your order — measured the way you actually drive it.
Who we write these for
Steel, spools, parts, attachments and iron sitting outside through a Canadian winter cost you more than the building does. Clear span, no interior posts, and an opening wide enough to drive through.
Published price first. Payment second.
Every building carries one published price. The monthly beside it is what that price looks like financed — an estimate, nothing more.
| Building | Published price | Installed from | Est. monthly* |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30′ × 60′ × 20′ | $10,888 | $21,888 | ~$167/mo |
| 40′ × 60′ × 23′ | $17,888 | $31,888 | ~$274/mo |
| 40′ × 80′ × 23′ | $21,888 | $37,888 | ~$336/mo |
| 50′ × 100′ × 23′ | $28,888 | $48,888 | ~$443/mo |
Monthly payment example. Illustration: building kit price only, financed over 84 months at a sample 7.5% annual rate, with equal monthly payments and no balloon payment. This is a calculation example, not a lender rate or offer. It excludes tax, fees, installation and extra freight. A preorder discount is not included in this example. First Capital determines your actual rate, term, payment and any end-of-term amount on approval. See First Capital’s terms and application.
Sizes run from 30′ to 80′ wide — see every size and published price. Installed-from figures include the published install base for an install-ready site; site equipment, crew travel and lodging are extra at published rates only when we supply them.
Quarterly maintenance, quoted for your yard
A fabric building wants its tension checked. Request quarterly maintenance visits and written condition reports for your commercial yard. We confirm the visit scope, pricing and schedule before booking.
What a visit covers
- Full visual inspection of frame, cover and base
- Fabric tension checked and re-tensioned as needed
- Ratchets, turnbuckles, cables and hardware tightened
- Anchor and base-rail check
- Door and end-wall hardware
- Written condition report with photographs
What it does not cover
- Storm, wind, hail or snow-load damage
- Snow removal
- Fabric repair or replacement
- Damage caused by your own equipment
- Ground movement, settling or drainage
- Modifications, or work needing a lift or crane
Maintenance is a separate service, scoped and priced in a written agreement. MAX confirms the provider and schedule before booking and is not the insurer of the building or its contents. Available for commercial sites in the Edmonton–Calgary corridor.
Questions finance departments ask
Do you rent buildings?
No. We sell the building and First Capital finances it as a lease. At the end of the term the building is yours to keep, and it moves with you if the operation moves.
Can the installation go inside the lease?
Ask us to include installation in an itemized quote when you buy the building package through MAX. First Capital confirms which quoted costs can be financed and the approved terms.
Can we lease buildings for more than one location?
Yes. Tell us the yards and the sizes and we’ll quote them together.
What if we move terminals before the term is up?
The building comes with you. MAX can arrange a quote from an independent crew for dismantling and reinstallation, subject to component condition, anchoring and the new site.
How is a lease treated for tax?
That’s a question for your accountant, and the answer depends on your operation. We’ll provide whatever documentation your finance team needs to make the call.
Who do we actually deal with?
MAX helps with your building, scope and delivery. First Capital Leasing handles your credit application, approval and finance terms. We coordinate your building order once funding arrangements are confirmed.
