Plan the space around your work
Create covered space for the calving work you actually do. Start with pen layout, animal care, equipment access and the site, then choose the building.
Plan the inside before choosing the footprint
Account for maternity pens, group areas, bedding, staff access and equipment movement. Confirm stocking space, ventilation and any heating needs with your animal-care and project advisers; an uninsulated fabric building does not promise a fixed indoor temperature.
Match the structure to the site
Provide the location, intended use and desired configuration. Confirm the applicable model documents, foundation or anchoring arrangement and any required approvals before site work or an irreversible order.
You choose the building. We arrange delivery.
MAX coordinates release and transport to your address. Free delivery applies within 888 highway km of the Edmonton or Brampton hub supplying your order, for products stocked there or ordered into that hub. Customer unloading applies unless the written quote states otherwise.
Peter is your MAX contact through delivery. Confirm the selected configuration, supply position, applicable deposit, delivery window and any separately quoted work before paying.
Frequently asked questions
What size should I choose?
Base the layout on your actual herd, pen arrangement, equipment and operating space. Floor area alone is not a verified animal capacity.
Will an uninsulated shelter keep calves warm?
Do not assume a particular indoor temperature. Bedding, ventilation, weather protection and any heating form part of the actual husbandry and facility plan.
Can MAX confirm arrival before calving?
Ask for the current supply position and schedule for your selected model and hub. Do not treat a provisional week as a guaranteed arrival.
Do agricultural buildings need permits?
Ask the authority for your actual location and use. No exemption or relaxed requirement is assumed here.
